Vernalynne became a psychotherapist because she believes in the power of healing through connection. She believes it is an honor to walk alongside others as they find their way back to themselves.
Over the past 12 years, she has worked with individuals, couples, and families through many stages of life. What stands out for her is through it all is the deep resilience people carry, even when they feel overwhelmed, lost, or disconnected. She chose this path because she wanted to create a space where people feel safe to slow down, speak their truth, and be seen without judgment.
As a trilingual therapist in English, Spanish, and Tagalog, she is specially passionate about honoring the richness of each person’s cultural story and identity. She understands how family systems, acculturation, and life transitions can shape each person— sometimes leaving people uncertain, but also open to powerful opportunities for transformation. Her approach is always grounded in respect, curiosity, and compassion.
As a therapist, she focuses on supporting others in cultivating wholeness, even in the midst of pain. To help clients increase self-awareness, find meaning in their experiences, and reconnect with their own inner strength. Whether someone is navigating anxiety, mood challenges, relational struggles, or emerging adulthood, meeting them where they are — and hold space for where they hope to go.
Ultimately, she is continually humbled by the courage her clients take to show up, speak openly, and do the work of healing. Their courage is why she continues in the work.
